This raden-inlaid lacquer sake cup is crafted by KOKEN MURATA, a contemporary Japanese lacquer artist. This piece features a red exterior with a black interior, is offered in the smallest size, and is presented without a box.

As the cup is lifted to the mouth, the rhodium inlay at the base shimmers like stars floating in space, drawing the eye inward and creating a deeply immersive experience. The exterior's vibrant red hue conveys a sense of festivity and good fortune, while the black interior serves to accentuate the depth and radiance of the mother-of-pearl inlay.

Its compact size allows for a focused, measured tasting of a single pour of sake, making it suitable for both festive occasions and refined everyday enjoyment. This product represents a beautifully balanced expression of modern urushi craftsmanship.
