*KOKEN MURATA Brown Urushi Plate

This brown-toned urushi lacquer plate was crafted by Koken Murata, a contemporary Japanese lacquer artist.
Its rich brown finish softly reveals the wood's texture and the artist's subtle traces of handwork, creating a warm and understated presence.
Its clean, gently angular form beautifully frames food, making it suitable for appetizers, grilled dishes, or desserts. The subdued color effortlessly harmonizes with a wide range of cuisines, offering a refined yet approachable expression of modern urushi craftsmanship.
